Good
Morning skiers and lovers of Thredbo,
What a
turnaround from last week, after our last report torrential rain
again trashed the mountain during Saturday and Sunday before it finally
got cold again and the rain ( talk about rain ) turned to snow, firstly
with sago and then some huge flakes which ran from Sunday afternoon
through to last night.
This morning
we have beautiful clear skies, moderate winds after over 25cm's of
snow, it is very cold up top so the snow conditions should be pretty
good.
All
reports
from yesterday afternoon raved about the conditions up of the bluff
and today should be no different. We again have full top to bottom
skiing on the supertrail so we are set to some some great skiing
over the next couple of days.
The forecast
is even better with snow further snow predicted throughout the week
with a front approaching for the weekend, temps of 14 are predicted
for Adelaide on Friday and 9 for Canberra on Sunday so that's a pretty
good sign with a front approaching at the same time.
There
still is some limited accommodation for the weekend. Have a great
week !
